Well done to all the pupils who donated shoeboxes for the Annual Shoebox Appeal. In total we donated 86 boxes. Well done everybody.

science Science week was enjoyed throughout the school. 3rd & 4th class had a great day out at the Lime Tree Theatre watching ‘Fantastic Physics’.


15th – 23rd October. Each class are doing various activities during the week.

19 September: There is a family fun day and mini market on this Sunday in the Millennium Centre from 2 – 5pm. Hope to see you all there! All proceeds go to Caherconlish NS.

This week is Active week. The Pupils in Caherconlish NS will be hurling, playing rounders, Irish dancing, Tae Kwon Do, Pilates and much more at school this week. Yoga will take place in the schoolyard each morning to limber up!

Congratulations to Robyn Byrnes, Andrea Carey, Ryan Moloney, Kayla Campbell, Lexie Curtin Ryan, Evan Galligan, Jamie Hourigan, Jack Kiely, Jasmine Kolodziejzak, Evan Martin, Shauna O Connell, Kate O Dwyer, Scott Ryan and Brianna Ukaigwe who made their First Holy Communion last Saturday in Caherconlish Church. The sun shone brightly and everyone enjoyed the wonderful ceremony. A special word of thanks to Ms Brennan amd Ms Carroll for preparing the children. Well done to the choir, Fr Roy, all the staff of Caherconlish NS and the Do This In Memory Committee.

irish weekSeachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) is an international Irish language festival and one of the biggest celebrations of our native language and culture that takes place each year in Ireland and in many other countries.

The festival runs from 1 – 17 March every year.We will be doing various activities in the school, including speaking more Irish where we can.
