This month in Aistear its all about our teeth. The Junior and Senior Infants have been learning what it takes to be a dentist. They learnt the words for all the dentist ‘tools’, how to examine and brush teeth correctly. They had previously learnt in science about what foods are good and bad for our teeth. It helps that our school has a health eating policy so the childrens lunch boxes would make any dentist proud! Not one sugary snack in sight!

While our newly qualified ‘school dentist’ is busy examining teeth, the other patients are kept occupied in the waiting area cutting out pictures of healthy/unhealthy foods for our teeth.
