Happy Valentines Day from 1st Class.

We were delighted to be taught Gaelic Football with past pupil Katie Heelan, who plays for Limerick.

We celebrated the Chinese New Year and the start of Spring.

1st Class have been busy this week learning about and experimenting with light in Science and had great fun learning ‘An Damhsa Mór’ for P.E.

We all enjoyed ‘Minecraft’ yoga!

The local mobile library came to our school and it was lovely and comfortable to read new books.

On a chilly Friday we enjoyed making snowmen.

We loved learning about Christopher Columbus.

1st and 2nd class received Christmas cards from their penpals in Scariff. They made Happy New Year cards to send back and wrote letters telling them all about their Christmas holidays.

Holly enjoyed making cakes with Freddy, while the Elf on the Shelf were keeping an eye on them!

1st & 2nd class drew some amazing pictures, based on Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

Ellen made the Limerick colours and the Clare colours!!

Taylor won our class pumkin in the raffle. We all voted to call him Eddie Jnr.!!

We wrote letters to our new penpals in 1st and 2nd class in Scariff N.S. in Co. Clare. We were thrilled when they wrote back to us. Here are some of our letters!
